Sometimes you just have to laugh...

We were at Target this morning getting some things. Olivia is throwing a fit because she wanted an icee at 10:30AM and I said no. Mia was doing fine until we were leaving and I guess she realized we weren't getting snacks and decided to throw her fit. So I finally get them in the car and as I'm getting ready to back up I get hit in the arm by a lens (from Mia's glasses) and quickly followed by her frames. I seriously tried my hardest to not laugh out loud but I was like really? This is what she does when she is really angry. Needless to say me laughing to myself helped me realize it's good to laugh. Shortly after the kids apologized...I'm sure once they realized we were going home and all the other activities were no longer going to happen.

I kept thinking to myself can you imagine acting like this in the workplace...this is when I started laughing again.

Sorry to hear you had a hard morning with the kiddos Kelli, but I have to say it is nice to know that my kids aren't the only ones who misbehave in public. They are so precious but so humbling aren't they? :) Hope you are well my friend.

Kel, that story is pretty funny and you're right sometimes you just have to laugh. I'm just starting that phase with Landon. It's so hard when they are waiting to see your reaction. I have to give Mia props..that's pretty creative of her to actually pop out the lens and then toss the frames afterwards! I love the stories...keep em coming!
