What am I thankful for???

Olivia's class has been discussing thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful and appreciative for what you have in your life. Here are the things she's thankful for...

Being able to eat dinner in her home and for the sun because it keeps her warm.

I had to share because I thought they were cute thoughts. We hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween

Olivia posing as Alice in Wonderland...she was pretty excited about her dress. She even memorized lines from the movie to recite.

Mia finally decided to go with a ballerina fairy. However, she wasn't sure what was to come of this whole dressing up business. (sorry for the fuzzy picture, new camera and I'm still trying to figure it out)

We had a ton of activities during the day. Here's the costume parade at school. The school is located near businesses so there were lots of people outside to cheer on the kids.

Olivia showing us her pumpkin that she designed and help cut.

The kids racing up to the door for more candy. This is when Mia realized this activity might be the best thing she's ever done. She didn't stop once to check or eat the candy, she powered through all the houses with the big kids and said "tick or teat" and "tank ooh". The candy however, became a bit of a battle later on when she thought she should eat it all at once.

First Field Trip

Olivia's class went on their very FIRST field trip! The most exciting part was they got to go on a school bus. I should have taken a picture of all of us moms with our cameras and nervous energy. We went to the pumpkin patch...more pictures to come.

A few more pictures...

Taeya relaxing outside in the sun.

This picture didn't turn out great. Ian was determined to take Olivia out on the row boat so Jill & Mia joined. It looked like they may take in water and as Olivia told us...she wanted to do this every day!

Hood Canal Weekend

Sisters hanging out and taking in the view while discussing the daily activities with their papa...

Deb saved all of our barbies and the girls loved playing with them. Mia likes to line them all up. We aren't sure why most of the Ken dolls don't have clothes.

Mia loves singing to Taeya. Since Taeya doesn't move yet she's the perfect audience.

Olivia wasn't afraid of the water...it was freezing.

She decided to go under and come up with sea weed.

A first for everything!

Mimi had a big day yesterday. She had her first hair cut. Thank goodness Grandma Debbie was there to entertain her. She did a great job and looks so cute with her new do! Another embarrassing note is all the Christian girls got their hair cut (me at my normal salon) and our hair is literally all the same length - it's a little matchy, matchy for me but David thinks it's a hoot! I didn't insert any pictures of us as a group as I'm on about 3 hours of sleep and no shower...YIKES!

I know CORNY I had to put in the certificate. The little kid's hair place does a good job of making the first hair cut an experience.

Another big first was Mia woke up at 1:30AM throwing up last night. She's never had the stomach flu and it was a doozy. She definitely didn't like it and kept saying "mama yuck, mama yuck". So I had to take a picture of her this morning. She had a bath but was TOTALLY not in to the picture.

I made her put down her blankies (or as she refers to them "babies") in this picture to show her hair cut but still not thrilled with mom. She's doing a little better but you can tell she's not 100%. Luckily, she is sleeping right now & hopefully no one else comes down with the flu.
